APA stands for American Psychological Association and it is the style followed when writing articles in the social sciences. • Double spaced, standard A4 paper with 1” margins on all sides.

• All pages must be paginated consecutively in Arabic numerals. These will appear in the upper right hand corner of the page.
• The abstract will be a single paragraph which is double spaced with 75 to 250 word summary of the essay.
• All sources used in the body of the essay should be cited in the references page accurately. This will include the author’s name, year of work and page number.
