A proposal essay is written based on a specific problem which has been identified. This problem is brought to the attention of the reader and along with it a solution is presented.  Most often proposal essays are written with the idea of promoting certain products or services. However, the selection of appropriate proposal essay topics does not differ markedly from selection of any other type of essay topics.
