Examinees taking the GED test have to write GED essay in the second part of the Language Arts, Writing Test. General Educational development (GED) is a five subject test conducted by the American council on Education to award an equivalence certificate to people who have no high school certificate. • Introduction: Background to the topic and the main point of the essay
• Body paragraph 1: First point of description
• Body paragraph 2: Second point of description
• Body paragraph 3: Third point of description
• Conclusion: Summary of the three body paragraphs and restating the main idea of the essay.
