Time for Action on Global Warming Front
We must fight against global warming, collectively and logically
Exploiting natural resources has been the integral part of human nature, ever since human kind evolved on this earth. However, the global warming has taken an alarming proportion now, as earthlings are threatened due to change in climatic conditions, while life-sustaining Eco-systems are diminishing fast.
Hence, it is the responsibility of citizens of earth, irrespective of their country of residence to act logically for fighting this danger. Although its causes remain countless, while finger pointing has become the order of the day, it is urgently required that all of us find a solution that could have positive affect on our future generations. In addition, we wish to understand the facts that are responsible or climate change and warming of the immediate environment of our earth’s atmosphere.
Therefore, it is essential that we achieve harmonious and collective consensus with regard t this issue, while summits like the recent one held at Copenhagen should deliberate at finding solution that is acceptable to all. However, entanglement of serious issues with political ideologies might delay any possible solution to the ill effects of global warming.

Defining global warming
Entrapment of sun’s heat into the immediate atmosphere of earth’s surface causes warming of the earth. However, this may not have the serious changes, pertaining to our lifestyle, immediately. Nevertheless, its affects are visible, when looking at the climatic changes that we observe, while we move from one decade to another. The causes of this entrapment are many. Pollution caused by the release of industrial gases and chemicals into the atmosphere is one of the major causes, responsible for global warming phenomenon.
However, widespread burning of fossil fuel that emits carbon dioxide gases into the atmosphere is another major actor, which is responsible for this phenomenon. This is particularly true for the countries, which burn such fuels like coal, oil and natural gases to meet their varied needs that include, mainly, energy demands. This is particularly true for the least developed and developing countries, which observe burning of carbon based fuels in different forms to meet their cooking and heating demands. Hence, countries of Asian and African continents require immediate action to limit this activity. Students could go through few essay samples to learn about writing different types of essays.

Difference of opinion
However, most of the countries in Asia, which include poor nations like Bangladesh and Nepal, place the blame for global warming on the industrial and developed countries. The arguments presented by them involve the past action of western countries, which resulted from their industrial development, while they used the natural resources for this purpose, in a haphazard and unplanned manner. However, the affect of such causes have become noticeable only now. While placing a corpus fund to address the concerns of countries like South Africa, China and India, would help the needy countries to fight environmental pollution, this step is not being welcomed by most developing nations. They feel that developed countries have a serious responsibility towards this.
Accordingly, international harmony is the call of the hour to fight global warming on the required massive scale.
